About Donald Petty

Donald is the founder and president of Pacific Sunrise Mortgage. Don’s flourishing career began over 20 years ago when he entered the world of mortgage banking as an originator. It was in this position that he quickly obtained top originator status and recognition. Don then served in the capacity of Branch Manager, District Manager and Divisional Vice President for national mortgage bankers. It wasn’t too long afterwards that he achieved the position of Executive Vice President for a mid-sized mortgage company. It was here that his ability to organize, lead, manage, motivate and produce results from vision to actual implementation was illuminated. He was ultimately responsible for the day-to-day operations of 26 offices. Don then chose to venture out on his own, to fulfill his long-time dream, opening his own mortgage company … hence the creation of PACIFIC SUNRISE MORTGAGE. Don then took his business to a new level. He diligently pursued and achieved the certification of Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist (CMPS) and Residential Mortgage Advisor (RMA). It is with this education and these certifications that Don has been able to help homeowners throughout California and Arizona not only achieve their dream of homeownership, but also build their retirement, utilize investment opportunities and/or save college funds as well. It is through meticulous, detailed and personalized Equity Management strategies and guidance that Don empowers families to not only achieve and afford a better lifestyle, but to thrive in it as well.
